How to reset password when you forget password of mac, imac?

Yes it happens with every one that they forget the passwords

But in Mac book or iMac if you forget password follow the below steps and save you pc

MacBook and iMac provides tool for resetting password

Step 1 : Restart Laptop or Computer

Step 2 : At time of restart press Command + R button, after few seconds you will see Apple logo and 1 progress bar then release the command + R button

Step 3 : You will see the menu bar at top Go to Utilities -> Terminal -> type :resetpassword

Step 4 : After that at back side you will find the reset window

Step 5 : Select the name of user and reset password easily without putting old password

Step 6 : Restart pc and you can be log in with new password

Finish
